These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Handydove mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By tapping "I agree" or continuing to use the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.
Handydove is a technology marketplace that helps clients discover and connect with independent service professionals. Handydove does not employ professionals, does not perform services on your behalf, and is not a party to any agreement between you and a professional. We facilitate introductions, messaging, session coordination, and optional discovery features such as Home billboards and broadcasts. Professionals who buy Home placement are advertisers on the Platform; Handydove is not endorsing their services by displaying an ad.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information, use only one account per person, and verify your phone number through our authentication process.
Handydove uses your live GPS location to show nearby professionals when you open the app. We do not track your location in the background. Location data is used to improve matching and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
When you request or accept a session with a professional, you enter into a direct arrangement with that individual. Handydove does not guarantee availability, timeliness, or quality of any service. You agree to communicate respectfully, provide accurate session details, and honor agreed-upon appointments to the best of your ability.
You may attach photos or other allowed media when sending a session request, and you may send photos, files, or short videos in in-app job chat. Job media is for coordinating that session only — not for public marketing. You must own the media or have permission to share it, and must not upload illegal, harmful, sexually explicit, or infringing content. Handydove may remove media or restrict accounts that violate these rules. Request and chat media are retained only for a limited time under product rules (typically about seven days, and chat media may be removed sooner after download) and are not permanent storage. Do not rely on Handydove as a backup of your files.
The Home screen may show nearby professionals and paid or complimentary billboard placements, including images and (for nationwide placements) short muted promotional videos. Ads are submitted by professionals. Handydove does not guarantee that any ad is accurate, and displaying an ad is not a recommendation. You may open an ad to view details; interaction data may be used to operate and measure placement delivery. Report misleading or abusive ads through in-app support channels when available.
Payment for services is agreed between you and the professional unless otherwise stated on the Platform. You agree not to use the Platform to circumvent applicable fees, policies, or safety features. Handydove is not responsible for disputes regarding payment between you and a professional. Fees professionals pay Handydove for advertising or other Platform products are separate from any money you pay a professional for work.
You agree to treat professionals and other users with respect. Harassment, hate speech, fraud, impersonation, and abusive behavior are prohibited. Reviews and ratings must be honest and based on genuine experiences. Handydove may remove content or restrict accounts that violate community standards.
The Handydove name, logo, and Platform design are owned by Handydove or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Platform. Content you submit (including profile text, messages, request photos, and chat media) remains yours. You grant Handydove a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Platform for the duration it is stored. You confirm you have the rights to submit it.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or create risk for other users or the Platform. You may stop using Handydove at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handydove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, any service performed by a professional, or any advertising or discovery content shown on the Platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to Handydove for Platform access in the prior twelve months, if any.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we publish a new version, you may be asked to review and accept it before continuing to use the Platform. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@handydove.com.
